Advice disclaimer 

All advice given is given in good faith. It is always your own decision whether or not to follow any advice given. I accept no responsibility for your actions and any consequences of these. 

Working practices (face to face sessions)

I am happy to undertake some light cleaning to assist the decluttering and reorganising process. I cannot move or lift very large items of furniture for Health and Safety reasons. If this is required, it may be sensible to arrange a willing volunteer. If access to your home or premises is restricted or unsafe, I reserve the right to charge for lost time and expenses incurred. Please note that I wear branded t-shirts with my business logo on; if you would prefer me to cover these owhen entering and leaving your property, please let me know.

Removal of items/Green policy 

I aim to promote recycling of your possessions wherever suitable and can offer advice on different options for appropriate disposal or sale. Any items removed from your property are done so at your own discretion. 

Payment terms (face to face sessions)

An initial consultation in your home or premises costs £20 and lasts up to 45 minutes. If a booking is made, this will be deducted from the overall fee. My hourly rate of £30 is charged to the nearest 15 minutes for decluttering. Each session is a minimum of 3 hours (unless specifically agreed) and working hours will be calculated from the time I arrive at your home or premises until the time I leave, excluding any breaks. 

Additional time for disposing of items to a local charity shop is free - one small hatchback boot load per session, approximately 20 minutes work. Any additional loads or ones that involve a drop off that is not local will be charged at £10 each.

Session times and duration will be discussed with you during the consultation; once agreed, an estimate of the fee will be given. 

I accept payment by debit or credit card (using a contactless reader), cash, cheque or BACS. All invoices should be settled within 8 days of the invoice date. 

Travel Costs 

I am happy to travel up to 30 minutes each way from KT10 free of charge. Any travel over 30 minutes will be charged at 45p per mile. This will be discussed during the consultation. If parking is restricted and a parking permit is not available, any parking costs incurred will be chargeable. 

Payment terms (virtual sessions)

An initial 30 minute session/video consultation is free. My hourly rate of £25 is charged to the nearest 15 minutes.  Each session is a minimum of 1 hour and working hours will be calculated for the time spent online with you.

Cancellation policy 

Cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. However, any cancellation by you within 24 hours of the agreed start time may, at the discretion of Simply Organised, incur a charge of any expenses accrued to date and up to 50% of the contract price. 

Other suppliers or services 

I am happy to make suggestions on the use of additional services, for example, cleaners or handymen, and can help to arrange these services. However I will not be held liable if their performance falls below an acceptable standard nor for any loss or damage caused by any supplier, its employees or agents. Suppliers' charges are payable by you directly.
